Secure your emergency passport quickly, within 24 hours.

There are two options when applying for an emergency passport:

1. Registered Passport Expediting Services

2. Making an appointment at a Regional Passport Agency.

Remember, for an emergency situation where you need your passport immediately, explore all of your options. You will find that a Registered Passport Expediting Service can get your passport to you in 24-48 hours. A Regional Passport Agency can also get you your passport in an emergency, but you will first need an appointment. Also, according to the U.S. Department of State Passport page http://travel.state.gov, Regional Agencies have a processing time of five (5) days.

Option #2: Schedule an Appointment at a Regional Passport Agency

The other option for an emergency passport is appearing at the regional passport agency in person. However, you will need an appointment first, so this may not be your best option for an overnight or next day passport. If there is an appointment available, then you can go through the Regional Passport Agency and get your emergency passport expedited. According to the U.S. State Department, Regional Passport Agencies take up to five (5) days to process an emergency passport. Regional Passport Agencies are located across the country and are listed below.  Select an agency near you to get more detailed in formation on their location. Regional Passport Agencies require an appointment and can be contacted at 877-487-2778.
